This 3/2 all original rod dates from the Lew Stoner era in San Francisco and is in good condition. It has goldenrod colored wraps, an orange agate stripper, and a modified Wells grip with thumb rest indentation and small indentation for the heel (right handed person). The reel seat is black plastic with an aluminum screw down-locking ring. Each section bears serial #5564 and one tip is marked 'A' and the other 'B'. The mid and tips vary in length from 1/4" to 3/4" shorter than the butt, but appear made that way. Both tips have mild curves, one to the left and the other to the right. The ferrules seat fully and this rods varnish is fine with a few small dings from fishing. This 5 1/2oz. rod is ready to fish and comes with its original labeled bag and tube with decal.
Due to the angle of the camera during photography, rod sections may appear longer or shorter than others due to a graduating effect, making a rod of equal length sections appear uneven. Please be sure to carefully read the description for any discrepancy in tip or section length before purchasing.
